Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at a later date?

Can I host an adult-oriented site on my account?
BanPro NET does not censor legal content as a rule. Provided your site content does not violate any local laws or our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy you may host it with us.

Why don't you offer "unlimited bandwidth" like some hosts?
The simple answer is because "there's really no such thing". A provider who claims to offer unlimited bandwidth either has no concern for the performance of their network and servers, or is lying to their customers about how much transfer they'll really allow a site to use. Our transfer allowances exist simply to protect the quality and availability of our service to all customers. We also provide affordable options to meet the needs of busier sites, which means you always have an easy upgrade available.

Can I purchase a larger disk or transfer allowance as my site grows?
Yes, we have a simple upgrade process available. There is no setup or other fee for upgrading and you will only pay for the upgrade starting with the day you receive it.

Can I run mailing lists with my account?
Our service is an excellent choice for legal, non-spam mailing lists.

Can I host an online store?
Yes, we have many e-commerce features available.

How do I transfer my domain name to your services?
After you signup for an account with BanPro NET we'll send you a welcome email with complete instructions for doing this, but the short reply is that you log into your Domain Registrar where you purchased your domain name and change the "DNS" or "Name Servers" on your domain name record to use our name servers. These are provided to you in your welcome letter. The process takes just a moment or two to complete.

If BanPro NET registers a domain name for me, who really owns it?
You do! We offer free domain name registrations with every new account as an added value to our service, however we never use a client's domain as leverage to retain an account, or even to collect past-due fees on an account.

The only exception is on cancellations made within the first 2 months of signing up with BanPro NET, as outlined in our TOS / Acceptable Use Policy. In these cases the client will be charged a $12.95 registration fee for the domain name.
